We have one eventful weekend ahead. Today was Gymnastics and our playgroup Christmas party. Very fun! The kids all looked so cute in their festive outfits. (Billy wants us to wait until Isaac is adopted to post pictures so stay tuned next weekend as there will be a lot to catch up on!)
Tonight we are taking Isaac out to dinner and to a Christmas tree lot where they have train rides and cut out characters to take your picture with. Oh-and his favorite-bounce houses! That should be fun. Tomorrow we are starting off the day with a "Breakfast with Santa" that our local foster care association is hosting. Then in the afternoon is cousin Samantha's 2nd Birthday at Gymboree. Isaac loves that place. And in the evening he will get to stay with Grandma because Billy and I will be at a dinner with our adoption ministry that is for families who are in the waiting process to adopt. And finally, on Sunday we will go to Aunt Sara and Uncle Scott's for lunch to watch Samantha open all her birthday gifts.
It is nice to stay busy, because then we don't drive ourselves crazy awaiting this adoption day to hurry and get here! We have a lot to do cleaning the house before the big day.
