Christmas is Coming

Beginning last night until Christmas, we are reading to Isaac out of his Christian Mother Goose book called "Rock-a-bye Christmas". It is really cute. In honor of Isaac's first Christmas home, I thought I would share with you a rhyme every day until Christmas Eve. So here is the first one.

Christmas At The Old Shoe House
There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe,
She had so many children,
And loved them all too.
She said, "Thank You, Lord Jesus,
For sending them bread."
Then kissed them all gladly
And sent them to bed.
And now it is Christmas
Inside the old shoe;
With so many children,
And so much to do.
Yet, all of them know
Midst the presents and spice,
The meaning of Christmas
Is Jesus the Christ.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9
