Potty Training Update

This first picture was the scene I discovered the other day when I walked past the bathroom. It made me laugh out loud because even though I purchased this anatomically correct doll over a year ago with the intention of one day using it in our potty training, I never actually did! But Isaac must have felt it was time for "Baby Be-en" (his toddler word for "please" is the name we gave the baby a long time ago!) to be trained too! Too cute!

So after three weeks of training I can safely say we are fully trained! It took a shade under a week of wearing only underwear to get him to pee every time in the potty. It was about 3 days in that he started to tell us he had to go. Then it took another 2 weeks to get him to poop every time in the potty. That has happened successfully now for 2 days. He was getting stickers on his chart for peeing and now he gets a prize each time he poops on the potty. He is very excited about that. Yesterday he jumped off the toilet, I wiped him, and then he said "I get my prize now?" He calls stickers "poggy training" and sometimes when he is peeing he will say "poggy training coming out!" He is such a fun kid! And a big boy now too! WAY TO GO ISAAC!!
