Baby Girl Shoes

Don't you just love girl clothes! As much fun as it has been to select Isaac's wardrobe and send him out of the house looking like a stud, there is just something magical about dressing my daughter. I guess it takes me back to being a little girl with my cherished dolls. (I had a lot of dolls and a lot of clothes :) And you all know I am a sucker for baby shoes!
Well, on that note I am so thrilled to have bought Vivianna a pair of the latest in infant footwear, Pediped. I got them sized 6-12 mo. for the fall/winter months. I went to a baby boutique that was going out of business and found her these pink "Abigail's" for 30% off. This isn't much seeing as they are not cheap to begin with, but I was happy because I cannot find these shoes anywhere at a discounted price, including the internet. They are soft leather like the very popular "Robeez" (the purple ones pictured). Olivia was given a pair of these and I kept them for Vivi, but I have never been all that crazy about the sock-like style. When I saw Pedipeds, I fell in love because they actually look like shoes.
Back when my sister and I were babies, doctors felt the perfect first shoe was a hard soled white high top, popular still at Stride Rite. Well from what I am hearing from other moms, that is no longer the case. Apparently now Dr's want you to either have your baby be barefoot or in soft shoes so their feet can stretch and develop at a safer rate. I'm okay with that, but I just LOVE baby shoes so much. So now I am on the hunt for the following two pairs of Pedipeds to complete her fall wardrobe. I refuse to pay the going rate of $30 a pair, so I will continue to hunt for a deal! Let me know if you come across them anywhere!
