First Day of Preschool!

Well it went well! He walked right in the school, asked where the lion was (the school mascot was in the foyer during open house) and walked back to his class no problem! It was a bit tough getting him to sit still and take a picture with his teacher, Mrs. Andrea. But as you can see I was able to get a good shot. When we left he screamed and cried. I called at lunchtime and the office manager went down to check on him. She said he was playing fine but had asked several times if Mommy was coming back. She said, "yes, Isaac- Mommy is coming. Are you waiting for her?" and he said yes and then went back to playing! When I picked him up he fussed at me for awhile (no tears though). In the van he said "I go back to preschool!" SO all in all he had a great day. His teacher said he ate all his food at lunch and didn't get mad. He is only one of a couple in his class that are fully potty trained, so I am proud of him in that area. But my one are of concern is that he is so loud and impulsive. When we got there he kept running around the room and yelling and later, I stood outside the room right before pick-up time and could hear him above all the other kids. We will have to continue to work on volume control!
I got choked up this morning when he wanted to brush his own hair. He just looked so big and seems to be growing so fast. I know one day I am going to really miss these toddler years when I am still his whole world, and they will be gone in a flash. I guess on days that he is really testing me, I should remind myself of this!

I'm sure Vivianna loved all the attention!

Well, they have preschool 2's (2 times per week) and then preschool 3's (3 times per week) and then Pre-K which is 4 year olds and then Kindergarten. Make sense? :)

What a big boy! I am so glad that everything went so well. William starts next week. Yeah! But I know that I am going to be very sad. I am already starting to get emotional about him going.
