One more week til school!

One week today, Isaac starts his first day of preschool!!! We have our supplies purchased, our lunch box ready to be filled, and our toddler backpack on back order. It is expected to arrive after the 29th, and I ordered it in June! Grrrr. I am nervous about him going to school! Not about being away from him, but about Isaac being away from me and screaming crying. We still have not been able to leave him at church nursery without getting paged within 10 minutes, so I don't anticipate this going well. I just hope he eventually settles in and enjoys it. We have been working on tasks such as following simple directions in a workbook, matching colors, our alphabet. Beginning on Monday, the days he is not at preschool, I will be doing a homeschool Bible curriculum with him. My sister showed me a website called Hubbard's Cupboard that has organized a 9 month curriculum for 2, 3, and 4 year olds. Each 3 weeks is broken up into a theme. Our first theme is Creation. I have organized all my materials, printed off the lesson plans for weeks 1-3 and am anxious to see how he responds to it. Good thing Vivi takes an hour morning nap now. This will give us time to get through a lot of our material. I will take pictures of our projects and post next week!
