This is going to be a fun filled week in our house! Tonight I am having dinner with a friend and tomorrow night is my monthly Starbucks night with the moms in my adoption ministry. Then Thursday is Billy's b-day (lunch with his girls!) and Isaac's school picture day. Also, that night we are going to view the portraits we had taken by a photographer nearby. I found her off the website www.celebratingadoptions.org It is a national organization of photographers that offer free sitting fees and proofs to adoptive families. I sure hope they turned out nice...the kids weren't real cooperative during our session. Then we will go over to my sisters house to have cake for Billy's b-day. On Friday (the day Viv turns 6 months), the kids are headed off to my parents house until Sunday while Billy and I go to a retreat for parents who have adopted through CPS. The retreat is all expenses paid by Lutheran Social Services, an agency that offers post-adoption support. It is at the Double Tree hotel in Dallas. Woo hoo! I am looking forward to it! 6 free meals that I don't have to prepare and a king sized bed...can't beat that! Thanks goes to my friend Amy for telling me about it!
I will post some pictures of the kids before the weekend, but I just wanted to share our week with you!
