Our little girl is 7 months old! She has accomplished a lot this month and continues to amaze us. She is now pulling herself up to standing in her crib on a regular basis, she crawls all over the house, has begun to eat teething bisquits, and hates to have her diaper changed. She loves to chew on Isaac's toys and get into the dog's water which sends us all yelling, "Vivi!!" She also likes to crawl into the bathroom and laundry room so we are working on keeping those doors closed. We went to the pumpkin patch and took lots of pictures, I will post those tomorrow...adorable! But for now I thought I would post A Day in the Life of Vivianna Hope (this is a sampling, as we do a routine rather than a set schedule by the clock):
3-4 a.m.- Wakes Up crying for a bottle, drinks 6-8 ounces, diaper change and goes right back to bed
5:30-6:00, wakes up for the day. At this time she is fed breakfast (yes, before the sun is even up!) This consists of Earth's Best organic infant oatmeal mixed w/ formula and 2 cubes of fruit, usually banana, apple, or pear.
6:30-7:30, gets dressed and plays on the floor with Mama
7:30 or 8:00, goes down for a nap or gets in the car to take Isaac to school
8:00-9:30 or 10- Naps
10 or 10:30 gets up and has a 6 ounce bottle
10:30-12:00, plays or runs errands with Mom
12:00, eats lunch which now consists of plain organic yogurt, a vegetable cube, and a fruit cube
12:30, takes a nap or gets in the car to get Isaac from preschool
2:30- gets up from nap and plays
3 or 3:30- has a 6 ounce bottle
3:30-4:30-plays
4:30-5:30- Short catnap
5:30- Dinner of brown rice porridge and 2-3 vegetable cubes
6:00- bathtime (every other night) and plays with Daddy
7:00- books and bedtime
This is pretty much it! She has regularity to her eating routine, but pretty much sleeps when she is tired, approx. 3 naps a day. At night she will sleep about 7 hours straight before waking up. We just enjoy her so much. Her temper flares up when we change her diaper, dress her, or put her in her car seat...basically any time her movements are constrained! Other than that she is a very happy baby.
