One Month Old

Well, we have survived one month with a newborn! It has been more fun than I could have ever hoped for to have a daughter that is ours from the beginning! She is so beautiful and full of life-which is what her name means! Very spunky. We couldn't be more proud. She holds up her head and smiles all the time. So cute! Today I get to go to a baby shower and show her off! The mentor I had during our infertility and her husband welcomed their first child, a little baby girl, home about 2 weeks ago, after more than 7 years of infertility. This will be my first adoption shower to attend...so exciting! It is wild to think how far she and I have come from 2 years ago when we would meet. Who knew we would both have baby girls just weeks apart through the blessing of adoption! God is so faithful.
