Well, we are now going on day 6 of potty training. The weekend went very well with him telling us he had to go about 90% of the time before he had gone in his underwear. He even went in on his own last night, turned on the light took his underwear off and climbed up on the toilet by himself to pee! We are just so proud of him! He filled up his first potty chart and received his "prize"-a lollipop. He was very excited about that.

We just moved to a chart system instead of getting a jelly bean everytime she went pee. It has been a rough transition for her. I'm trying to give more of an incentive to "make brown" in the potty. Making the jelly beans the immediate treat. So far, only on day one, she didn't go for it. We'll see how this goes.

You can download potty charts at www.childavenue.com. It has worked well for us to put him straight into underwear, no diapers or pull ups. He poops about 1 out of every 2 times in the potty. When he poops he gets 2 stickers. I filled up a basket of "prizes" from Dollar Tree and he picks one out when his chart is full. He likes counting how many spots we have left to fill before he gets a prize. Good luck, it isn't an easy journey!
