Tagged

So apparently in the "blog world" there is a little game where a person tags your blog and you then have to write 8 facts/habits about yourself. After that you tag 8 friends to do the same on their blogs. Well...I was tagged by my friend Kristin. So I will now list these things. However, I do not have 8 friends who have blogs so I will tag those that I can. Here goes...



1. I am a very messy, cluttered person. If you have been to my house it probably looked good, but that is not how I live in my natural state. Go into my bedroom or my car and you will see the real me, much to Billy's dismay. I wish I was cleaner/neater but I am not and I am learning to accept this while striving to do better.



2. The one thing in my life I wish I would have picked up as a hobby is photography. Now I know you are thinking I still could, but there is no way we can afford all that fancy equipment or the classes to learn technique. So I will continue to dream on.



3. I was a soccer mom with a minivan at heart long before I married.



4. My dream is to live on a large piece of land in a home with lots of bedrooms and bunkbeds with lots of kids (adopted through foster care, domestic, and international) and a rescue dog for each child to take care of. Plus a huge kitchen with two refridgerators, a membership to Costco, and family dinners every night. At this point we will need to upgrade to a bigger van.



5. If I wasn't a stay-at-home mom, I would have wanted to go back to school to become a Child Life Specialist, working with terminally ill children in hospitals and home care.



6. I don't floss. And I sucked my thumb well into my middle school years. Yeah...really, I did.



7. I believe that parenthood is so much harder then you could ever imagine it to be, and nothing (even 18 years of experience in childcare and a degree in child development) can prepare you for the sheer exhaustion that is raising a child through infancy and toddlerhood.

8. Aside from becoming a Christian, marrying Billy is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.

Okay that's it. I don't have many habits so I chose facts or ideas to fill up my list. I now tag 4 of my friends (I understand if you don't want to participate, it wasn't easy coming up with these!):
