Don't you just love Dr. Sears?

I recently ordered these multivitamins for Isaac and today we received the Omega 3 liquid supplement for Vivi (Isaac's is on the way). Dr. Sears says if you can only give your child one supplement, it should be Omega 3 fish oil. It helps with brain function, concentration, and behavior. It is especially recommended for children with hyperactivity issues. Even though we are on a pretty tight budget, I have always seen the kids' nutrition as a major priority. It will actually save you in dr's fees and prescriptions in the long run, if you provide your child with a healthy diet. Isaac has not been to the pediatrician since his 2 year check-up in Nov. 2006. When I called to schedule his 3 year check-up, the nurse was really surprised that he has not been sick in a year! I have always loved Dr. Sears' books, so I trust his advice. I've read about 5 of them, but don't own any of them yet. They aren't cheap! If you can read any of his books, do it! Libraries carry many of them. And his website is a wealth of information- www.askdrsears.com

yes we do! their books are great resources. aliza decided early on that she wanted a lot of the things sears recommends, so we appreciate their insight in raising our active little one.

What great advice. I take all the omegas everyday and I plan to put my kids on a strong vitamin mineral diet.
Have you heard of hair testing? The 'Good' vitamin stores offer the process...it is a little pricey, but the test just takes alittle hair and week later they can tell you everything that your child needs more of, or isn't getting enough of...And what they are getting too much of. I have friends that have done it for themselves and have seen dramatic changes in their lives through the process!
